The way to the hotel is easy of you take motorcycle - the you just go down. On the way back it can be a bit challenging though. Hotel is really nice and chill, not many people so you can really enjoy and relax. They give sunbeds and hammocks, swimming pool is pretty big. Food is good but if you eat a lot you may ask for double portion as they are little small. Prices are not so bad if you consider the place and how difficult is to get there. In the morning we saw monkeys!

Also they have a vegan breakfast option and different vegan lunch/dinner options🙏🏻 The place is located AT a nice beach, and with a taxi you are within 15 minutes in Santa Marta, if you want to discover the city or have dinner there.

We were only supposed to stay one night, ended up staying longer, and then came back here like to our family. It is home away from home in Santa Marta. The staff are wonderful. The places are people, and this place is special because of the people who treat you like a family member from the very beginning. They give you a smile, help, advice, care and delicious breakfasts and dinners (every day something new prepared by the lovely, always smiling Natalie). We said we work remotely, so they offered us the chance to work on the terrace upstairs or in the common area, finally they gave us room with the desk, but we actually worked really well in the common area, especially because of the great atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hostel itself is in a great location – close to the beach, but also to the place where buses to Tayrona and Minca leave, and close to the bus stop where local buses to the airport leave. I hope that one day we will come back here, and Justin – the owner – will realise his beautiful plans. The world needs people like him. Sana Mar is a wonderful place, and we support this project with all our hearts 🥰

Really nice experience in Hostel Vista Verde! I only stayed 1 night but would’ve loved staying more nights there! I needed a room with 2 beds. The unit that was given to me included 2 queen size beds, with its pillows, sheets, and a covering against mosquitos (but it was not needed! The unit was clean and cozy, and the price was really good! The staff was amazing, Julia the owner was really nice, Steffany the cook, prepared a delicious dinner, and all the staff was nice, even Jualia’s son was quite adorable and has my name “Alvaro”. The hostel is around 45 min away from town, and you gotta climb a lot of hills, but it is worth the experience. In general I’d recommend this hotel!

We loved the peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature, the wild macaws that visit every night were a huge highlight too! So relaxing and rejuvenating. The food was also delicious and great value!

Wow, this place looks incredible for nature lovers! I can totally see myself getting lost in the scenery and just breathing in the fresh air. It seems like the perfect spot to escape the everyday hustle. I'm definitely adding this to my list of places to go again.

Imagine Hostel and staff are wonderful. The hostel is very clean, quiet, and convenient. the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The fan and air conditioning in the room made it very comfortable. We highly recommend staying here.

Hostal velero relax nằm giáp biển ở Santa Marta, cách Bãi biển Guachaca chỉ vài bước chân và Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino 42 km. This was an absolute surprise and perfect from start to finish. The family hosting this place is so loving and the place and the location just breathtaking! I started by reserving a room and then ended up sleeping on the last floor on just a mattress - so basic but the nature there is just incredible. steady waves and a bit of wind make it the perfect ambiance to sleep outside. No noise at all for cars as the place is located directly in front of the beach. I highly recommend you go there !

Waking up with the sound of the waves, having breakfast on the beach, chill atmosphere, very sweet staff, nice food and amazing cookies, the best sunsets... 💖 Love the quiet areas where you can walk to from here... Stunning coast, be careful of the strong current at times though! 🌴🌸🦋☀️🌊⛱️
