Very clean and pleasant decor especially the patio. The staff was super friendly and gave me excellent recommendations.

I've felt like being in a small family! Jen and Felipe are so welcoming! They will make you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive with their beautifull smile and their overwhelming feeling of happiness! PLUS, they offer 3 meals for cheap prices! The food is just amazing and they have vegeterian options as well which are also super tasty! I played music a lot with Felipe and the other guests! It's the perfect place for those who wants to have a peacefull and quiet hostel far from the crowdy San Gill center! Also, they have 3 cats and 2 dogs which are sooo gentle! I truelly recommand this hostel! I also forgot my headphones there and they offered me to send it back to my home by post! Thank you Jen and Felipe!

If a hostel could be perfect then this would be the one. This is a lovely peaceful oasis near the scenic town of Barichara. Great food prepared by Flo, with an attentive demeanour towards guests. It was the best three nights to relax and experience the nature of Colombia without being eaten by mosquitoes. Once you get settled you can take the regional bus into the town and back. Or just stay put and go for some walks around the property. There is Starlink internet if you need to do some work and I loved the outdoor shower. I will return as soon as I can!

Loved how much they help with tours and everything you need. The hostel has such a great vibe aswell if you want to just relax and chill. I would recommend staying here to everyone I tell about going to san gil. All the workers are amazing and go above and beyond. They have little free experiences aswell like tejo, Spanish lessons and football. It honestly is the best place we stayed extra nights because we loved it that much. San gil is the nicest place and this hostel accomodate you in every way possible. The owner is amazing aswell. I needed help with medication and he came to help translate everything. Can’t express on how great this place is

Really exceeded my expectations. I stayed 10 days and really didn’t want to leave. Amazing views, comfortable environment, very peaceful, excellent kitchen, beautiful cats, and mango trees.. so sometimes mangos for breakfast :)

Set in San Gil, Eco Hostel Oro de Gaque has a shared lounge, garden, terrace, and free WiFi. Amazing place to stay away, guests were very nice and friendly.

It's a quiet place, surrounding by nature. We met a friendly dog and cat. The owner was not present but managed to provide what was needed for a good stance.
