Incredible views, beautiful beach, and only a few tourists make it there. The hike to get there was super nice and not too exhausting. The breakfast was really good and the dinner (fish) was quite a large portion. It was definitely our most special night in Colombia!

Loved waking up to the sounds of howling monkeys and birds. Lots of macaws, very entertaining with the dogs. I would love to come back. The location was inside the park. We took the collective minivan to the beach (5000cop), some walked but as we were hiking later we preferred this cheap transport. We opted for a horseback ride to Cabo and it was just us two plus the guide and it was a very pleasant relaxed ride..(60000cop).

The atmosphere in this place is amazing, really relaxed and chill staff and guests. The food and the drinks delicious and affordable! The pool clean and refreshing. Sleeping in a cabin basically outside was such a cool experience, felt safe and exciting, would recommend! Definitely the best hostel we have been out of all 10 during one month in Colombia.

The beds are super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a day full of adventure. All in all, this is a place that perfectly combines natural beauty with top-notch service—I highly recommend staying here!

Origen Hostel ligger i Zaino og har en udendørs swimmingpool, have, en terrasse og restaurant. Overnatningsstedet ligger 48 km fra Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino og har en bar. Origen is located only a short walk (10min) from the main road and once you step foot through the entrance you enter a small paradise. Very beautiful, colorful and big garden, comfy common area, cute swimming pool area and the food is very good (can recommend mushroom pasta for dinner and granola for breakfast). The staff is very kind and helpful. I stayed in the dorm which was okay. The private cabañas look outstanding though!

The feel of the place was relaxed and friendly. Lola was very helpful with options for activities and spoke beautiful English, a help to us with very little Spanish skill. The location near the east entrance of Tayrona Park was close enough that a Mototaxi can get you there. The beach was clean and for the week we were there it was swimmable; the currents can get bad enough to close it for swimming. There is the Mendihuaca River 5 min down the beach that was good for shallow swimming and cooling off. Lots of food options near the hostal; hostal breakfast was simple but very satisfying. Good fan in our room and mosquito nets.
