Beautiful (and hard) hike, beautiful location and everything just right for a hard to reach national park lodge. Great food, great staff, comfortable yet old cabanas. Very communal, great for backpackers as well as ex-backpackers that want a comfy private room :)

Boasting a restaurant, Magdalena Beach House is set in the sidewalk in Los Cocos. and also provides a bar and a garden. Guests can enjoy ocean and garden views. This was an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING property to stay at! It is a little bit in the middle of nowhere (you have to get off at Playa los Cocos and walk 5 mins) and within the property there are some stairs but there is great breakfast included everyday, and FRESH, COLD water (which given that we went in August when it was very hot every day, felt like a blessing). The room itself had a great view, came with two fans, a beautiful bathroom and had a hammock and a sofa-chaise as well. For the price, it is unbeatable. The hotel also offers laundry and other services (including a 1-hour massage that was amazing). Maria - the host - was super kind and very helpful! Would definitely stay here again.

The family working here are so friendly and accomodating and truly made my stay memorable! I would come back to Tayrona just to visit this hostel again :)

The Valley Tayrona hostel- A social jungle hostel có hồ bơi ngoài trời, khu vườn, phòng chờ chung và sân hiên ở El Zaino. Có quầy bar, chỗ nghỉ nằm cách Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino 48 km. The location was great, surroundings were beautiful, you could fall asleep and wake up to the sound of birds chirping. While reading a book I also spotted some monkeys. The staff was superfriendly, all spoke english aswell (a treat you don't see much in Columbia). Food was nice. It was super close to Tayrona entrance. Definately worth to stay longer than just for visiting Tayrona.

Welcome to the Caribbean coast of Colombia, where you will find beaches, surfing waves, palm trees, a jungle and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (the highest mountain range near the sea in the... Incredible and spacious outdoor area with lots of room for activities like volleyball, tabletennis and ofcourse relexing at the private beach! Great bar and music everynight, ending with a daily beach bonfire at midnight. The dorms were comfortable and clean. A beautiful retreat in nature!

We were welcomed with very good service; they immediately showed us to our room, explained the rules. The room had everything we needed and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was good. The best part is its location—you don’t have to walk from the bus like you do with other hotels. We usually don’t use pools, but this one looked clean, and we liked it. Plus, they helped us with directions to other places.

I am a young female solo travelling for the first time and this hostel provided the best experience. It’s such a beautiful place that is well kept and cared for by the staff. I stayed in one of the private cabins that included an upper level with a hammock and seating all to my self. The staff were very welcoming and friendly i only stayed for 3 nights but i truly felt like i made genuine connections with them. Sammy and Will are the best i hope to return again sometime!
