Everything was clean and so homie! I felt right at home with the loveliest staff and comfortable facilities. The location was also perfect as I had a flight the next day.

Great location, everything is brand new and clean. Fully equipped kitchen which is great. The dorm had AC at night and curtains. Great place for families with kids. We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.

Staff was super nice and very helpful with an easy check in and assisting us during our stay, great with our kids! The layout is great with a fun pool and hangout area near the bar and hammocks and benches all over the property to relax. Not very crowded in the off season so we almost had the place to ourselves. Bartender and breakfast staff are so friendly and the food is yummy! Rooms are no-frills but it's a great value so it works. Great location (once you find it) to walk through the town of La Fortuna. Bakery down the street is phenomenal! Poshpacker offers a list of tours you can arrange through them and we loved the safari boat tour.

The place honestly surprised me in the best way. The staff were insanely helpful — anything I needed, they handled right away and always with a great attitude. I really felt welcomed and taken care of the whole time. Wish more places worked like this. Totally recommend.

He gave lots of great recommendations for several activities and does not want to sell tours like lots of others. Just perfect!!! This made our trip perfect and I highly recommend the hostel for everyone who goes to La Fortuna. The rooms were clean and we had a nice balkony to sit outside. It is a great hostel to get to know others.
