The staff is some of the sweetest and most helpful I've had in central America. Nice, well equipped, large kitchen. There's a TT table for those who play. All the common areas being in one place ensures that it's pretty social but not in a loud way. Very easy to make friends and talk to people, find others to plan activities together etc.

You can play table tennis at the hostel. One of my favourite hostels in Costa Rica! Chill vibe, very clean, beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was one of the most well equipped I've seen in a hostel, and the staff is very friendly! It's a 10ish minute walk to the town center but I enjoyed the walk, you may even get a little concert along the way hahha
