The owners were so nice. The taxi they organised for us didn't turn up, so they drove 20km to pick us up in their own car and wouldn't accept any payment. The family apartment was very comfortable and clean. It had essentials such as coffee tea, sugar, salt and oil. Close to supermarkets and walking distance to bus station and restaurants. The firstt load of laundry was free, which was a great bonus. The outside road was a little noisy with music at night, but it was the weekend.

We loved the place and were very happy with our choice. Yocky and her Mom are amazing hosts and take care of their guests very well whether it is sharing trip advices or preparing delicious meals or just to spend time together like friends or family members do. The Family and also all their employees are very kind and wonderful people. So are all the horses and I can also recommend horse riding at their place. Also the whole property meaning the land is just amazing. It offers diffrent kind of wooden houses (smaller, bigger, older and very new ones) for the guests and we loved the one that we chose. We have never seen so many diffrent birds just in front of our house and we had aready been to Costa Rica several times. It was a very magical time to us, and we would like say one more time: Thank you, Yocky, for your hospitality and for the possibility of being able to visit your beautiful and so natural land with all these trees (we love guanacaste big trees), birds and other animals. We already miss this place and can only add that there are not so much of such places for a real travellers/explorers to see and experience when it comes to real Costa Rica and its beautiful nature. We want to definitelly come back!

All units at the hostel are equipped with a private bathroom equipped with a shower. Very clean, location is great (very close to the beach and center) and the manager was very nice and helpful !

All guest rooms in the hostel are fitted with a coffee machine. Alouatta Playa Coyote features some units that feature sea views, and all rooms have a shared bathroom with a shower. The rooms will provide guests with a fridge. We loved everything. The outdoor kitchen, the tents, the location and especially the hosts and their dogs!

Hostel La Botella de Leche is 5 minutes’ walk from Tamarindo town centre and 1 hour’s drive from Daniel Oduber International Airport. I liked that the property was close to the downtown Tamarindo and the beach and of course the pool. Btw, her receptionist Ailén was so kind and friendly. Thank so much.

The hostel offers a barbecue. It was Perfect! Hot water , friendly owners , really safe location next to the city center and a lot of space in the room ! I recommend the surf house 100%

I've stayed at Casa Terra for almost 4 weeks because I went to Intercultura Language School nearby to learn Spanish. I felt very comfortable and at home at Casa Terra. It was always very clean. Also, I enjoyed being surrounded by nature and since it was not on the main road, it was really quiet at night. The walk to the beach is about 8 minutes, the walk downtown around 15 minutes. The volunteers Constance and Carolina as well as the owners were always happy to help with questions and organizing tours and often hung out with us at the hostel. I can fully recommend staying there.

Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. I arrived to the place a little late but I let them know in advance via WhatsApp number they provided, so I didn’t have any problem with the check in. They were really polite. I had a very quiet and comfortable night at the dorm. In the morning they offer free coffee which was also nice. Also the common area was decorated with the guests’ drawings, it was very lovely. You can leave your drawing as a memory before you leave.
