Definitely deserving of all the amazing reviews they’ve received. Our private room was very nice and comfortable, the fans were perfect (AC wasn’t needed), and the shower had warm water. The hostel decor is amazing, and it has nice areas to sit in the courtyard. The kitchen was very large and organised, and had everything we needed to cook. Also this was the cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed in, they was always a cleaner around cleaning some part of the hostel. Location was also perfect, short walk to everything but also in a quiet spot. Staff were all very friendly. 100% recommend staying here

La Tribu Boutique Hostel for Women se găsește în Puerto Viejo, la 6 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Negra, și pune la dispoziție unități de cazare cu aer condiționat și un lounge comun. It was such an amazing experience to be surrounded of nice people, I met new friends there to spent the days I was there but the best was the activities they were doing for us (cooking lessons, painting...) that give us the chance to interact with everybody and have fun! This was my first experience with a "only woman" hostel; and I am just sorry that my stay there was for just 2 days. Thank you for organising this lovely space to share and meet each others <3

We saw giant crabs, poison dart frogs, agouti, sloths, many birds and colourful flowers. The restaurant is delicious and the whole place has a great atmosphere. Comfy beds, hammocks and well equipped kitchen. Very child friendly, quiet, clean and lots of fun. We loved it :-)

The property is located outside the busy and noisy centre of town in an oasis of peace and rest. The views of the sea, and the plants, trees and animals all around are magic! ✨ saw a sloth right opposite the gate of Svastha and Tucana fly around the yoga Shala!

Arcari Garden Hostel is located just 400 metres from Tortuguero National Park, just a few steps from the sea shores and features free WiFi access is available in all areas. The owners, a very kind couple, go out of their way just so that the guests are happy and comfortable. We loved the room and the breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and a pot of coffee brewed right in front of you. The staff is nice, too.

I stayed at this hostel/hotel for 5 days, I was in a dorm and I can say the most comfortable bed ever! It was clean and brand new with big lockers, AC and a big fan with toilets and bathrooms inside each room and a beautiful balcony over the patio where you have many animals coming every day like monkeys and macaws! The people working there are the best 💚 It also has a restaurant and bar with a dock that’s amazing to watch sunset. I honestly could live there it was so green, clean, beautiful and new.

The hostess Anna Rita was very helpful and went above and beyond in assisting us when a family member got sick. She took exceptional care of all of us ? assisting us with everything we needed. Their guide Owen was very helpful too, assisting us with our medical needs and taking care of us by talking to the doctor and even bringing us medication. He was very knowledgeable and did a phenomenal job showing us the local wildlife during our tour. Ana Rita and Owen were truly amazing and we appreciate all they did to make our stay very enjoyable and comfortable.
