Guests at the hostel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Dos Brazos, like hiking. I came as a guest and decided to stay as a volunteer. I sincerely enjoyed my time soaking in the nature and wildlife. There is so much hiking you can do, I recommend staying at least a few nights to enjoy it thoroughly. A special thanks to Ron the owner for his kindness and the other volunteers and guests for a beautiful experience. I look forward to coming again!

I loved the helpful reception, free activities like morning yoga and beach volleyball, and the amazing Soul restaurant. The beach was just a short walk away. Great atmosphere – highly recommend!

All units will provide guests with a fridge. The Cafecito Surfhouse was a true “pura vida” experience! From the moment I arrived, Chelsie y Lenin welcomed me with the warm hospitality making me feel at home. The location is perfect, just steps away from snta Tere beach, where you can enjoy magical sunsets and the relaxing sound of the ocean. The vibe is calm and authentic, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the “pura vida” lifestyle. Everything was very clean, and their sweet cat added an extra touch of charm

At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a terrace. At Surf Shack Room #1 each room is fitted with air conditioning and a private bathroom. The location was fairly quiet as there wasn't much road traffic going by. There was AC and the shower had hot water, which my wife loved. The kitchen was an ample size and had everything we needed; even Tupperware to keep our extra food so we didn't leave it in the pans. The rooms didn't feel cramped and had shelf space to put our things. The beds we're comfy and the towels were soft. The covered common area outside the kitchen was a great place to eat and for my wife to work. We would stay here again.

Perfect stay! Great location in the middle of nature. Nothing fancy, just connection to Costa Rica beautiful nature ! Comfy beds, everything you need, waking up with birds in the middle of the garden. Heyner’s family is so nice, his wife is cooking a great breakfast and dinner. They booked the mangrove trip which was amazing and we had horseback riding with Heyner. It was a great experience . We will definitely come back!!

Dorms, private rooms with shared bathroom and family rooms at the Hostel have a balcony with ocean views. Amazing view from the top roof apartment. there was no glass in the bedroom window just a nest so you could hear all the birds singing all day long. it is also close to the road so the cars and motorbikes make a bit of noise while climbing up the hill. There is everything you need : pool , restaurant with bar and variety of food both traditional and universal at reasonable price. staff is very helpful and support on everything : tours , laundry etc. the whole building is arranged beautifully. breakfast is a choice of : traditional, granola with jogurth, pancakes , French toast. Wi-Fi works perfectly.
