The location was pleasant and easy to find. Reception was very friendly and the facilities were excellent. A communal kitchen was provided as well as drinking facilities in our room. Beds were comfortable. Everything was neat and well organised.

Located in the centre of Brno, right under the Špilberk Castle, 10-Z Bunker is dating back to the communist era. The property provides accommodation with unique experience and a programme of choice. I was prepared to stay in a low-maintenance place, as it was imminent from the ratings, but I was actually surprised, how clean and comfortable it was. There was warm water in the showers, which were separated by walls (not like in some sport-hall or fit centre, where there is just one large tiled room with 6 showerheads sticking out of the wall. I was also surprised, how warm it was (as I didn't see any radiators in the photos; so another pleasant surprise). It is not a five star hotel, but has a really great atmosphere and the experience is great.

Hostel John Galt is located in the centre of Brno, only 400 metres from Brno Main Railway Station and a 5-minute walk from Freedom Square. Awesome location, and friendly staff.

Even though the exterior looked like from the old times (not really a negative aspect), the interior was newly refurbished. The design simple yet practical and I was particularly impressed by the bathrooms. It gave a luxurious impression. Breakfast was rich and as a bonus, the traditional little pies were simply delicious. I can imagine staying in this place with my family too. Highly recommended place.
