Great experience, comfortable enough for this type of place. In June it was not cold, probably could differ depending on the month. Location is exceptional - 20 meters from the old town.

Hostel John Galt is located in the centre of Brno, only 400 metres from Brno Main Railway Station and a 5-minute walk from Freedom Square. Long time I haven't experienced such a cozy hostel. It was more like home than a hostel including a living room with comfortable couches and aquarium. 🐟 Also there was a lot of space in the room + individual cupboards where I could store my stuff. The owner was very helpful and nice.

Even though the exterior looked like from the old times (not really a negative aspect), the interior was newly refurbished. The design simple yet practical and I was particularly impressed by the bathrooms. It gave a luxurious impression. Breakfast was rich and as a bonus, the traditional little pies were simply delicious. I can imagine staying in this place with my family too. Highly recommended place.

PERFECT LOCATION, easy self check-in and self check-out procedure, a comfortable room and clean bathrooms. Definitely worth the price. The staff is kind and always willing to help. I loved the bunny theme of the hostel. I was lucky to be alone in a room prepared for 6 people😅
