At the hostel, all rooms come with a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. Every room is equipped with a kettle and a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, while selected rooms include a kitchenette equipped with a stovetop. All units will provide guests with a fridge. It is a nice place on the beautiful lake. We had apartment with a loft for 2 adults and 2 children and a dog. Kitchen was good equipped. I would only complain that there was no microwave. Dog cost 10 euros. Personal was dog and people friendly.

Hostel am GÜTERBAHNHOF is located in Neubrandenburg City Centre, opposite the train station. The modern hostel opened in May 2015, offering guests a WiFi hotspot as well as parking directly in front of the property. Clean room and bathroom. Very close to city. Easy to get in. Great service

Exceptionally clean, super friendly staff and a superb breakfast. Haven't slept that well in ages! Shower had very decent water pressure as well and the rooms are very sound proof - we only found out at breakfast that there were 10+ other people staying there as well.

For a typical small-town hotel, you will get great value for a little budget. The host who greeted me seems like one of these local originals – acting somewhat ruff and ready, albeit with a heart of gold!

The location is hard to reach without a car. I had to take a taxi from here to the station, which wasn't easy (or cheap) to organise.
