It was so well done, with beautiful views, and a structure to match. Everything was so well thought out and tastefully done to create such a great vibe and energy—a testament to the owner(s), who put genuine love and care into all aspects of this wonderful place! Even the whimsical touches of a kid goat and bathroom art were note-perfect! They even put on a delicious communal meal followed by a great merengue class, with some really cool people in attendance. If I didn’t love riding bikes to new places so much it’s the kind of place I would’ve been happy to end my vacation in.

At the hostel all rooms are fitted with air conditioning and a shared bathroom. Literally couldn’t be better, hostel room was super cozy with complete privacy inside your bunk, and the public spaces were beautiful and really well kept. The photos don’t even do it justice, since they were taken all the surrounding plants and garden has grown into a lush jungle around the main building. One of the owners, Austin, was an absolute pleasure to speak with as are all of the rest of the staff and guests, truly a hub for brilliant people in one of the most untouched an beautiful places I have ever stayed. I can’t wait to come back to El Valle !!

The area is popular for cycling, and car hire is available at the hostel. It was a amazing place to stay, the animals are lovely and the garden is really nice and relaxing. The communal areas are nice as it makes you interact with other travellers and hear there stories and tell you about places to visit. The staff and owner where really nice, Edit (the owner) is very helpful with her 5 language and experience as a guide.

The host was absolutely lovely and very helpful, made me feel right at home and gave some great recommendations! The facilities in the room and public spaces were great, if you are looking for a place that feels like it’s in the countryside but is close enough to a town this is the place for you! I cannot recommend this stay enough!!
