The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hostal is walking distance from the main plaza and other attractions. Very peaceful atmosphere and beautiful small garden. We planned to stay here 2 nights but extended to stay two more nights.

Two nights stay in the town of Cotacachi during Inti Raymi was magnificent. The hostel, combined with a brewery, was our home from home, just seven minutes walk from the plaza. Comfortable, secure, with an outdoor common area to relax and enjoy the cats and dogs, and the beer. Our room was big with a very comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed many conversations with Roger and Melena, both so helpful. We should have stayed longer.

Located in the center of the city, Hostal La Rosa Otavalo is offering accommodation in Otavalo. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace and views of the city. Great location, the room can do with modernisation but overall it's ok with hot water available when needed in the shower. Breakfast provided and is adequate. They have a roof terrace with great views of the mountains. The staff are great and serve with a genuine smile. Diego will arrange for any treks ,hikes and is very helpful and knowledgeable. I had a great time on my trek . Thank you to the staff for making my stay comfortable.

I felt safe walking during the day to the main cathedral and parque. The natural beauty of the area is a plus, as Ibarra is surrounded by beautiful mountains.

It has an Excellent location near the Ponchos Plaza(basically in the middle of the city), free wifi, nice and clean bedroom with warm sheets and comfy pillows, also warm/hot shower water and a very clean bathroom. Also the owner/reception was very kind , helped me get accommodated.
