Such a beautiful and peaceful place. All the staff is very friendly and helpful! This place has a nice location, you are close from many places to explore around. Two nights stay in the town of Cotacachi during Inti Raymi was magnificent. The hostel, combined with a brewery, was our home from home, just seven minutes walk from the plaza. Comfortable, secure, with an outdoor common area to relax and enjoy the cats and dogs, and the beer. Our room was big with a very comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed many conversations with Roger and Melena, both so helpful. We should have stayed longer.

I like the location, friendly staff, breakfast, and facilities. Diego took us for a tour for a reasonable price. He also has a good knowledge about the places we went to, we learnt about Ecuador and Indigenous culture. We loved staying in La Rosa Otavalo. We will definitely stay there next time.

Breakfast consisted of eggs, fruit, coffee, juice and a sandwich, all very good. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. I felt safe walking during the day to the main cathedral and parque. The natural beauty of the area is a plus, as Ibarra is surrounded by beautiful mountains.

There are several decks and rooftop areas making the Hostal seem huge and luxurious. Excellent and clean shared kitchen (they're usually not clean, this one is). Rooms are cozy and fairly big. Very secure, extremely professional and well organized staff. Quiet. Strong wifi.

It has an Excellent location near the Ponchos Plaza(basically in the middle of the city), free wifi, nice and clean bedroom with warm sheets and comfy pillows, also warm/hot shower water and a very clean bathroom. Also the owner/reception was very kind , helped me get accommodated.
