At the hostel, every room is equipped with a balcony with pool view. All rooms are complete with a private bathroom and air conditioning, and selected rooms have a patio. I had a wonderful stay here. Even though the weather wasn't on my side, and I was the only guest in the hotel for the duration of my stay, I still really enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I'd definitely stay here again.

There are alot of places to stay around the world, and most of them are in it for the money - but not this one. I had no real desire to go to Las Tunas, but after backpacking around Ecuador and Peru for a while, all of the favorite people I met on the road seemed to have the exact same recommendation: Go to Onda Hostel. So I texted the hostel owners on Whatsapp, where they proceeded to be somehow genuinely interested in answering my millions of questions over text before I arrived, arranging for transport, and even picking me up a massive guanabana just because I casually mentioned once I'd like to try it. The beds are comfortable, the A/C is cool, and the coffee is endless, but it's truly the people that make this place great. The owners are passionate about building a community and they instill that same stoke in their volunteers. If you're looking to stay in a place with some atmosphere, there is none greater in the Americas. I booked at this hostel for two days and stayed on for weeks, only leaving because I had to. To my new friends that I've made at Las Tunas - Thank you, and I'll be back soon!

Excellent staff everyone was so helpful..breakfast was.very nice..location was great and walking distance to market and beach...I will stay here again when I return..the pool was also lovely. It worked well with my budget...

Featuring a terrace, the 3-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and a tour desk for guests. For the price I can't fault the place so it's a ten all the way from me. I got the apartment across the road from the reception. Excellent spacious place. Jacuzzi in the bath, bedroom up the stairs. All good. Breakfast was great. Tuzco is a five minute walk back from the beach which, bearing in mind how noisy the area at the front can be is a real bonus. The pool and its surrounds were clean and well organised. But the best thing about the place is Julio and his staff. Welcoming, friendly and professional at all times. They arranged an early breakfast for me on two of my mornings and could not have been more helpful.

Situated in Montañita, Hostal Casa Taisha offers beachfront accommodation 200 metres from Montañita Beach and features various facilities, such as a private beach area, a shared lounge and a terrace. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a tour desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The hostel has family rooms. The host was extremely nice and the communication with her was very efficient!! The rooms were perfect for us. Without a doubt the best place to stay in Montañita because of the location: very quiet yet located within a few minutes walking to the center! would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Super friendly and accommodating staff, very comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and some of the best yoga I have practiced. I met some amazing people here too. I extended my stay, twice. 10/10

This is the most peaceful place I have stayed in all my years travelling. It is so tranquil and lovely, right next to the beach. The only sound I could hear was the waves on the shore.
