I stayed in the two beds room, and was by myself the whole time. I loved the fact that the place was quiet despite the tram right outside the room (they provided me with earplugs). I could do my laundries and get everything washed before I left. I enjoyed my cup of tea every evening too. It was truly like a hotel. I’ve travelled all around the world and this is the best hostel i’ve stayed at!! It was also extremely clean and well located right in front of the tram, 10 mins walk from the bus station, 10 mins tram from the airport.

Check-in at 1am was fast and with no trouble, everything was explained well. Staff was very nice and showed the room. Shared bathroom (though in my case I was alone) was clean, shower was comfortable. Wi-Fi was great and rooms were tidy and clean.

Easy checkin. Friensly reception. Clean rooms. Standard was ordinary for a short term stay, all you need.

Nice clean room! Hostel is very quiet this time of year. Location right next to Old Town! Good kitchen and sauna+pool available for guests!

The room is perfect, as you expect form a good hotel. Spa was included in the price. Breakfast was great. Staff was helpful. 10/10

Viru Backpackers Hostel is a small, friendly place on the bustling main street of Tallinn's old town, just around the corner from the Town Hall. Amazing location, friendly staff in both hostels (we left our luggage in another hostel as advised), great building and cozy room. A great stay in a lovely city. I recommend it.
