He facilitated our transfer from Luxor to Aswan, then the road to Abu Simbel. The location is wonderful, the island is quiet - after 6 days in Egypt we slept here without any noise waking us up :). Delicious breakfast, dinner can also be served, also very tasty - Omar is a great cook. He brought us on arrival and departure with his boat. My wife wanted some Egyptian cotton towels - 30 minutes later, Omar brought them to us. Thank you for everything, Omar!

The first thing I noticed with I stepped downstairs to get to our room was the amazing aroma that was in the air and in our rooms. Not to mention cleanliness of our room and beautiful location of the hotel. The staff was exceptional and friendly during our stay.

We wanted a place close to the center but not on one of the islands, as the ferry/shuttle situation can get tricky depending on the time of day. That’s how we found this accommodation, and it was perfect! Even from the booking photos, I was drawn to its cute and thoughtful design—and I can confirm it looks just as lovely in real life. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had such a welcoming vibe. The location is fantastic, nestled in a Nubian village with friendly neighbors where we always felt safe. It’s an easy walk to the public ferry for Elephantine Island, just five minutes from Carrefour, and super convenient for catching a public minibus (only 5 EGP!), tuk-tuk, or taxi. Best of all, it’s right next to the Nile—just a few steps away—where you can take a refreshing dip on hot days or enjoy stunning sunsets with feluccas sailing by. The real highlight, though, was the owner, Nia. She was incredibly helpful, always available to answer our many questions—how to get around, which ferry or bus to take, where to find the nearest shop, and even how to travel to other cities. Honestly, we would have been completely lost without her guidance in this lively, fast-paced city! She also helped us book a tour to Abu Simbel at a great price and made everything so easy. I highly recommend this stay!

The food is authentic nubian being prepared daily based on your liking and needs. The view from the balcony and terrace is amazing.

Go Inn Backpackers situa-se em Aswan, a 23 km de Mausoléu Aga Khan, e dispõe de acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um salão partilhado e um terraço. Basic rooms but the views and direct access to the water makes it 10/10. You can dip in for a swim or even rent kayaks and the owner ghandi has a wealth of local knowledge so be sure to ask him for tips. Really enjoyed Aswan and wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Family run hostel, Definitely stands out. Quiet place, David is always available. I tried the Abu Simbel private trip. I would highly recommend if anyone has it on their itinerary during your stay at David's Hostel.

Em Aswan, 23 km de Mausoléu Aga Khan, Wanees Hostel dispõe de acomodações com ar condicionado e um salão partilhado. O local é bem localizado, em um souk. O hostel me surpreendeu positivamente, tem quarto espaço, bem limpo e confortável, o ar condicionado funcionava bem, havia um espelho de corpo inteiro no quarto o que acho muito positivo! Gostei muito do atendimento da equipe, pessoas simpáticas e prestativas. O hostel é limpo, o banheiro é compartilhado, porém muito limpo! Obtive um upgrade devido para um quarto individual, então considere essa avaliação referente ao quarto individual. Porém a estrutura do hostel como um todo parecia seguir o mesmo padrão de limpeza e organização. Fica próximo do templo de Luxor, da pra ir a pé!

بيت شمس encontra-se em Aswan, a 18 km de Mausoléu Aga Khan e a 11 km de Museu Nubian. We had an amazing time staying at Chams House! My family (3 people) and I stayed for 3 nights. They greeted us with a fruit basket and lemon mint juice, which was such a thoughtful surprise! The house was super clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the family made us feel at home the entire time. Since we had a lot of luggage, they arranged a microbus to pick us up from the train station, which made things much easier. At first, we were a bit unsure about the location, but the family helped us plan a great program for the 3 days, taking care of every little detail. A big delicious breakfast was waiting for us every morning. We also asked for a homemade traditional dinner, and they cooked an amazing meal for us. The family was so friendly and kind—we had wonderful conversations with them, and they were some of the nicest and most humble people we met in Egypt. They even called the bus station to help us with an issue we had with our bus to Hurghada. The wifi was surprisingly great, I was able to work the whole time freely. But the highlight for us was how authentic and local the whole experience felt. It was so different from anything else we saw in Egypt, and being immersed in the Nubian culture was unforgettable. The islands were beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the Nubian massage my mom, aunt, and I got in the guest house was amazing! They even let us check out late, since our next bus was untill 3pm. We absolutely loved our time at Chams House and would recommend it to everyone. Don’t think twice— I'm sure you’ll love it as much as we did! Thank you to Mr Chams, Mrs Bertuda, Khetamy and the cutest little Anas, you all made us feel at home.
