Especially due to the amazing terrace overlooking the Nile where all travelers gathered at any time of the day, helping socializing and making new friends. Youc an even jump into the Nile for a swim, or go kayaking. Ghandi the owner knows a lot about the area and the attractions and can tell you the real prices of things and help you arranging whatever you know.

David hostel tem um jardim, salão partilhado, um terraço e restaurante em Aswan. Apresentando serviço de quartos, este alojamento também dispõe de comodidades para churrascos. This place was a good surprise! David is so kind and helpful. He is fast to answer my questions abiut anything, but didn't try at all to push any tour or something like this (what is amazing in Egypt). The place is simple, but very clean. And he even provides simple breakfast, dinner and even laundry. Good hot shower. There is a nice rooptop where you can chill and have your meals. It is impressive how he can provide such a good service for a such low price. The location is a bit far from the touristic center, but super easy to get by local van (4egp) or tuktuk - for us, it was a plus also, we felt better in a non-touristic neighborhood

Each bed had its own power socket, light, and regular sized locker for bags. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, big shoutout to Jimmy and Hassan for making my stay amazing by going with me to the market, showing me around, helping me with tours, and even getting me a last-minute bus ticket. They were easy to chat and hang out with. I had a great stay I’ll always remember. Thanks guys!

بيت شمس encontra-se em Aswan, a 18 km de Mausoléu Aga Khan e a 11 km de Museu Nubian. We had an amazing time staying at Chams House! My family (3 people) and I stayed for 3 nights. They greeted us with a fruit basket and lemon mint juice, which was such a thoughtful surprise! The house was super clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the family made us feel at home the entire time. Since we had a lot of luggage, they arranged a microbus to pick us up from the train station, which made things much easier. At first, we were a bit unsure about the location, but the family helped us plan a great program for the 3 days, taking care of every little detail. A big delicious breakfast was waiting for us every morning. We also asked for a homemade traditional dinner, and they cooked an amazing meal for us. The family was so friendly and kind—we had wonderful conversations with them, and they were some of the nicest and most humble people we met in Egypt. They even called the bus station to help us with an issue we had with our bus to Hurghada. The wifi was surprisingly great, I was able to work the whole time freely. But the highlight for us was how authentic and local the whole experience felt. It was so different from anything else we saw in Egypt, and being immersed in the Nubian culture was unforgettable. The islands were beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the Nubian massage my mom, aunt, and I got in the guest house was amazing! They even let us check out late, since our next bus was untill 3pm. We absolutely loved our time at Chams House and would recommend it to everyone. Don’t think twice— I'm sure you’ll love it as much as we did! Thank you to Mr Chams, Mrs Bertuda, Khetamy and the cutest little Anas, you all made us feel at home.
