Our stay at Kashta Guest House on Elephantine Island, Aswan, was fantastic. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the start. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh and delicious local flavors. The location is perfect, offering a peaceful atmosphere,, yet still close to the main sights. The guest house itself is charming, clean, and well-maintained, making it an ideal place to stay in Aswan. Highly recommended!

It’s value for money, the staff were all warm and accommodating! Ahmad, the manager helped us arranged the excursions to Abu Simbel and to Luxor. It all went well and felt safe. Both trips require us to get up early, they were so nice to pack up breakfast meals for us. We tried to have dinner and it was delicious, we enjoyed the meat tagine in particular, similar taste to moroccan tagine actually. Internet was working, not so strong but it’s expected so nothing to complain about. The corner room on our last night was weak, it was okay coz we just crash to sleep for our early morning trip. Overall, everything went well and practically just what we need to experience Nubian community. Thanks to everyone for their hospitality.

The employe was a gem, very helpful, comprehensive, very fast to answer sms. The place is near everything, very clean with a place to enjoy and chill, the room are confortable and clean, locker are available for small luggage. Its not expensive.

It is a real nub Ian palace ,very beautiful. Rooms are very big with nice decorations.Breakfast is good.Gardens. Very peaceful, in the centre. It is in Hloll hotel.

I was feeling quite exhausted from my travels in Egypt, but the incredible kindness I received here completely turned my mood around. The male staff member is exceptionally kind—honestly, he is the kindest person I have ever met in Egypt. They even gave me a free room upgrade and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. This is truly the best accommodation. If I ever return to Aswan, I will definitely stay here again. Best place in Aswan!

Quiet place, David is always available. I tried the Abu Simbel private trip. I would highly recommend if anyone has it on their itinerary during your stay at David's Hostel.

The dorms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Each bed had its own power socket, light, and regular sized locker for bags. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, big shoutout to Jimmy and Hassan for making my stay amazing by going with me to the market, showing me around, helping me with tours, and even getting me a last-minute bus ticket. They were easy to chat and hang out with. I had a great stay I’ll always remember. Thanks guys!

Beautiful view from the roof top. The owner Mr. Seko is very nice and also the staff. Location is near the river. My morning routine was to go to the rocks nearby beside the river and enjoy my morning coffee in a quiet, beautiful and peacful environment. There is also a small shop in the same building. You can buy tea, coffee and snacks there. Shop keeper is also very nice as everybody on the island. Elephantine island is te best!
