Rafiki, where do I even begin this love letter? I'll start with the people. From the moment I stepped foot inside Rafiki, I felt welcomed. I must have been at the hostel for less than 15 minutes before being invited to a music night in the mountains. Next thing you know, I'm sat on the back of a pickup truck, driving into the dark abyss of the desert until we arrived at a hideout with fairy lights and a live band. To my joy, there were many Egyptian people on holiday at Rafiki. They took me under their wing, showing me how bartering is really done—the Egyptian way. We shared music and stories, comparing cultural similarities and differences. What a pleasure! As for the rest of the international Queens and Kings at Rafiki, the warmth and culture that Rafiki has created make it so easy for everyone to integrate. All of this resulted in stories that I will cherish forever. Thanks, Rafiki. A special and shameless shoutout to Roba and Jeanna. Roba, thank you for being so welcoming and organizing the best events—your smile will be missed. Jeanna, ma partenaire dans le crime, you're the best!

The breakfast was really good, the hostel was very clean,I had a great stay, and we even had a barbecue on the rooftop at night, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended❤️

The best vacation ever! After the chaos of Cairo, Bedouin Hostel in Dahab was the perfect escape. As a solo traveler, I highly recommend it. The hostel is super clean, the neighborhood is lovely, and the kitchen is a huge plus. Chef Ahmed's amazing food adds another layer to the whole experience. Shoutout to Elafifi, our best tour guide ever! We enjoyed incredible diving, snorkeling, and amazing food with them—highly recommended! Dahab is a place I'm definitely coming back to.

Situado en Dahab y a 2 minutos a pie de Dahab Beach, Tecoma Hostel tiene un bar, habitaciones para no fumadores y WiFi gratis. Tecoma made me feel at home since the very first minute. The bed was soooo comfy (wider than usual individual beds), the breakfast so tasty and Adam (the owner) was super helpful at all times. I could use a hairdryer, do laundry and honestly I never missed anything. There’s even free drinkable water supply (God bless you and your mum, Adam) that will save your life at times. The most beautiful and chill beach area in Dahab is 5min walking distance from the hostel. Going to Assala square, where you can get literally anything you need (food groceries, bike rental/fix, pharmacy, coffee places, clothes, restaurants…) is a 10min walk (or 2min taxi). And last but not least: there’s always good energy around and very beautiful people to talk with! Randomly gathering at the rooftop, chatting, stargazing, listening to music or sharing a meal and stories is definitely a thing at Tecoma… it was just an unforgettable experience (:
