The location is perfect as well. Steps away from the beach and a variety of shops and restaurants.

All rooms in the hostel are fitted with a flat-screen TV. I stayed here for a few days to relax after walking the Camino de Santiago and it was one of the best decisions of the trip. The hostel itself is beautifully decorated and comfy, with lots of nice spaces to relax. It's a 5 minute walk to the supermarket and about 10 minutes walking from the beach (you can borrow a bike if you want). I didn't take any surf lessons, but was able to get a ride with the others to a beach nearby. There are also a few nice hikes available in the area, that take you from beach to beach. Finally, the food was great! Breakfast was better than any hostel I have stayed in, and I loved the homecooked dinners. Bea made me feel very welcome, and I will definitely come back to this place!

Taking into account "The Fat Cat" is not on the Camino, there are so many pros which you have to consider 1- the view. 2- the positive vibes of the host. 3- I was unable to walk up the hill, so Alice, without a second thought, picked me up in El Pito. There is a quick and easy path to connect to the Camino in the morning. Pilgrims don't think twice, just go!!!!
