Just 4 years old, it is run by a family who obviously take pride in providing excellent hospitality at a very fair price. Spotlessly clean, excellent pilgrim meal and breakfast (including fresh fruit salad and bakers' bread, not the usual cheap sliced rubbish), again at a very fair price, nothing seemed too much trouble. Fantastic showers with pipping hot water. We congratulate the owners on a job very well done.

At the hostel each room comes with a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. We received a very warm welcome from the owner which was appreciated. Our rooms was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is a communal lounge and dining tables you can use and also an outdoor patio are and pool. We opted for breakfast at €5 which was toast, croissant, jam etc with coffee and juice which was great, there is also a €8 option with eggs. This was available from 7am. We also used the washing machine for €5 and used the lines in the garden to dry. It is located right in the centre of the village opposite the store. The owner clearly loves this place and it shows, it is a very warm and welcoming place to stay!

Located around 18 km from The Coliseum Burgos, the hostel with free WiFi is also 8.7 km away from El Parral Park. The property is non-smoking and is located 16 km from Burgos Museum. A lovely old building with some nice features. Good food and popular with the locals. It's always the staff that make the difference and reception, bar and waiters were exceptional. On a cold day the dinning room was cosy but our room was cold and this was resolved quickly.
