The rooms at La Casita are fitted with a seating area. What's not to like. Beautiful, loving and kind people in a picturesque setting sharing their wonderful slice of tranquility on the mountain. The breakfast and dinner were always great and in January, our dinner was had in a cozy shared space where you get to share stories with fellow guests. Breakfast we had overlooking the mountains in the rising sun. We also really loved Simba the cat, always up to no good and looking for love and boisterous Shanty the dog. We rented a car and were happy with the central location so we could explore every crevice of the island within the hour. But even without a car, there are walks and places to visit close by as well and you can just rejuvenate enjoying the peace and quiet. I only wished we could've stayed longer. The best hostel i ever stayed at. It is located on the most popular and active beach exactly in the middle so it was easy to reach any activity you like just by walking. The staff was very friendly and supportive, the view (directly to the ocean ) was breathtaking from every floor and especially from the rooftop. The rooms were spacious and clean, the common areas very cozy, comfortable to cook and enjoy your dinner and drinks while meeting other travellers. I totally recomend this place.
