They have pilgrims menu and "A la carte" choices, all very good. And bar with tapas. The rooms are modern, clean, spaciuos. It is my second time here and if I have the opportunity I will definetly come back. The previous stay was with the family, two teens and they just love the place with the pool and a gaming room.

The property offers 2 types of accommodation. There are 2 floors of dormitory rooms for 6 or 7 people, each with lockers and shared bathroom facilities. There is also a third floor with private rooms and 2 studios. Private rooms have a private bathroom with a bath or shower and free shower gel. They also feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Studios have a small kitchen area for private use. Very nice Albergue. Great staff, nice kitchen with coffee machine, microwave and a good size lobby to relax. I am doing the camino with my mother, 82 years old. She loved the place, so we stayed an extra night.

Providing a bar, the property is located within 26 km of Villa Romana La Olmeda. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. You could be tempted to walk through this village to make the Camino halfway point in Sahagún but that would be a mistake. There isn’t a lot in the place but the hostel is wonderful. I got a great welcome like I was an old friend. It’s spotlessly clean and both hosts are great and also the lady that arrived to help with breakfast was also lovely. It was warm and comfortable and very clean throughout. Dinner was very tasty and the breakfast was also top class. The best Albergue I had visited after 18 days walking 👍

Amazing hostel right next to the Cathedral. It had all we need: clean and modern interior, kitchen, fridge, free washing machine and dryer (!!!). Great bathroom. Only 12 beds, all modern and with a curtain giving you privacy. Reading lamp, socket, phone holder in every bed. Bed is comfy with real bedsheets. One of the best on the Camino!

Located in Villafranca del Bierzo, 21 km from Las Médulas Roman Mines, Albergue de la Piedra features views of the river. Located around 22 km from Lake Carucedo, the hostel is also 26 km away from Ponferrada Castle. The owners were super friendly and as I arrived kinda late, they waited for me.
