Sungate Hostel is located in the very centre of Madrid, 210 metres from Puerta del Sol and 5 minutes' walk away from Callao metro station and Gran Vía Avenue. Free WiFi access is available. This hostel was really great! The receptionists were brilliant and Ana in particular was amazing! Checked in in the evening and was given water, some food tips for some dinner and some great recommendations! All the staff went above and beyond to help my experience! The rooms were well sized and had good aircon! Location was perfect and near a metro line! The hostel events were fantastic. There was an event at least every day/evening and they were all good :) everyone staying at the hostel was friendly too

Hostal Art Madrid is located in the centre of Madrid, around 250 metres from the Plaza Mayor. It offers air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi in all areas. A well located hostel in Sol – now my favourite part of Madrid. Easy to find – upon arriving look up and the sign says it all. There is an elevator, so no need to carry much. The staff was helpful and the room itself is of course small, but it's cozy and I have slept in much smaller places so no worries, there's even a small balcony. Now for the best part – Yatai Market, a food court filled with asian restaurants, is located on the parallel street, 2 minutes max. Salmon Guru, the world's #16 cocktail bar is a rather short walk away – recommended! Cheers!
