The hostel is full of charm and has a beautiful story. The owner is very helpful and welcoming, and the facilities nearby are very convenient. There is also a parking space right in front of the building. Everything exceeded our expectations. The owner took the time to welcome us late in the evening and explain the facilities and available options. We had a fully equipped kitchen to prepare our own dinner, which was very convenient. The place was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Early in the morning, we enjoyed an extra boat ride (included in the price) and had a lovely walk to see local wildlife and experience the beautiful Finnish morning. The breakfast was beyond what we expected, and as we had a full day of travel ahead by plane, it was truly energising. We can only wish the owners to continue following their passion. They are truly wonderful people, which is rare nowadays. A big thank you for making our stay so exceptional. We definitely plan to come back one day!

Just 100 metres from Kuopio Train Station, this hostel is 5 minutes’ walk from Kuopio Market Square. It offers free Wi-Fi and basic rooms with a fridge, microwave and tea/coffee facilities. Perfect convenient location , in the centre of town , within 2 minutes of getting off the train I was at the door . Clean , fridge and coffee making facilities in the room.

Situated by Kallavesi Lake, Hostel Hermanni is 1 km from Kuopio’s main shopping street, Kauppakatu. It offers functional rooms with a flat-screen TV and 2 shared kitchens. Wi-fi and parking are free. Clean room with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was very well equipped.
