Located in very beautiful area in the countryside with excellent road connections. Including very special athmosphere due to unique history of the place. Host was very friendly, helpful and seems to keep the place in good order and tidyness.

Among the facilities at this small and peaceful family-owned hostel are a 24-hour front desk and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The hostel features family rooms. The facilities were clean and comfortable. Towels were included as well as toiletries. Everything was clearly signaled and in good condition.

The room was modern, very clean, and extremely comfortable, providing everything I needed for a great visit. The bathrooms were spacious and spotless, which really added to the comfort. The facilities were excellent, with everything well-maintained and convenient to use. The location is another big plus—close enough to the city centre to get around easily, yet in a peaceful spot. Overall, this hostel strikes the perfect balance between comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. I’d highly recommend Tourist Inn Hostel to anyone visiting Helsinki, and I’d definitely stay here again.

Bathroom facilities at The Yard Hostel are shared. The location, staff and the environment at the venue was super fantastic.

The hostel is 1.8 km from Helsinki Cathedral, 1.9 km from Helsinki Olympic Stadium and 2 km from Finlandia Hall. Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is 15 km away. Honestly one of the best hostels/guesthouses we’ve stayed at. Everything is simple— from check-in/check-out to communication with the staff. The kitchen was large and spacious, our private room was super comfortable and the shared spaces are also cozy. The hostel is nearby to many transit stops, making getting to and from the airport really easy. It’s nearby a Lidl, a local swimming pool/sauna (definitely recommend), and several different restaurants.

The Viking Line ferry terminal and Kauppatori Market Square are few minutes' walk away. Also other interesting sights are close by. Better rooms, a free morning sauna.
