Was very surprised that it was pet friendly and really appreciated it. The surrounding saunas, cabins and lakeside were wonderful. Hope to visit again next summer!

The Yard Hostel is centrally located in Helsinki, just a 5-minute walk from Helsinki Central Station. This hostel offers dormitory rooms as well as private rooms. Free WiFi is available. Everything is how a hostel should be, amazing. I arrived in a cold early November, so it was pretty quiet. I guess this hostel will be busy with a lot of happenings in spring and fall seasons. Location is perfect, 5 .mins walk from the main central station. There's an Irish bar opposite. Can't fault it.

This hostel is in the Vallila district of Helsinki, 3 km from Helsinki Train Station. It offers free WiFi, a shared kitchen and an on-site supermarket. I liked everything. I booked three times, in May, June and July and everytime I was asking for a specific bed and the staff always made it possible for me. They're the best.
