Great lockers (bring your lock) and extra spaces to store stuff. Great beds with well-fit curtains, socket and light. Great stairs to reach the upper beds. WC: common, one per floor, offering 4 separate spaces, always clean and neat. Soap provided. Showers: apart from WC, common, one per floor, offering 4 separate spaces, always clean and neat. Shower gel provided. Amazing water pressure! Big garden with tables and chairs and a bar. There's a beautiful bar inside too. The coffee costs 2,5€ and the breakfast is 11€. I liked both. Free luggage storage before check-in and after checkout.

Located in Lille's Old Town, The People - Lille is a hostel offering shared dormitory rooms and private rooms. This hostel really exceeded my expectations! I mean.. It’s a hostel and I know how that can be sometimes but I was blown away by how great this was. It felt really safe and homey.

The hostel Auberge de jeunesse L'Escale offers accommodation in Dunkerque, a 10 minute walk from the beach. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The place was close to the beach and the museums. We visited many museums and walked a city tour. The breakfast was delicious.
