Portree Youth Hostel is located in Portree’s city centre. This hostel features a shared dining area and a communal lounge. The property is within 300 metres from many shops, bar and restaurants. Portree’s small port and its coloured houses are 600 metres away. Great location, very comfortable property ! Friendly staff and co-residents. There was a well maintained and clean kitchen as well which came very handy :)

Wonderful bunkhouse - affordable, clean, and well-equipped - in a beautiful, secluded location. We loved our time here and found it to be an ideal base for hiking in Skye. Pam (the bunkhouse warden) was really friendly and hospitable, too.

Both free WiFi and private parking are available at the hostel. They were so accommodating. We blew a tire which made us 2 1/2 hours late for check-in and they were so understanding!

Some rooms have a TV, and most rooms have a private external/internal bathroom, while others have access to a shared bathroom. All of the rooms and dormitories provide bed linen. We loved staying at Saucy Mary’s. The lovely man at the desk was super friendly and very helpful when we asked questions. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The location is very beautiful, and the food in the restaurant was excellent.

Located in Broadford, within 15 km of Kyle of Lochalsh and 29 km of Eilean Donan Castle, Broadford Backpackers Hostel provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private parking for guests who drive. staying here was a very pleasant experience. more than being in a hostel, you felt at home. the house was extremely clean, and you could make use of the fully equipped kitchen and the living room as if it was your own home. would definitely recommend.

The hostel is in a fantastic location, the rooms are clean and bright and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bunk beds are fixed to the walls so you don't get shaken about when the person in the other bunk turns over or gets out of bed.

I had been concerned by previous poor reviews but hostel was much better than I expected. It was very basic but had all the facilities needed. Plenty of space in kitchen and sitting area with two cookers and fridges and multiple tables and chairs. Handy for restaurants or Supermarket to get food to cook. Bunk bed was fine so no complaints and a good start to my cycling tour.

Location..close to town. There was a youth hostel like communal kitchen which would have been good to know about so that we could have taken advantage of it. They allowed us to leave bags prior to checkin time.

Right in the centre of Portree, near the port and most dining places. It's a hostel, so there's a shared kitchen, which was quite large and well-equipped. Rooms had the spare minimum (bunk beds, chair).

Youth hostel in the center of Portree. Facility very clean, well organized with very nice rooms. No complaints. Kitchen very clean, easy access, three stoves so cooking something was very easy. Great place.

The bedding was surprisingly comfortable for a youth hostel. I also liked the self-serve kitchen and they had some games and puzzles in the community area. Hostel manager was very nice and talkative.

I've stayed at a few Backpackers hostels so I know what to expect. For the solo traveller who works outdoors, I always find the accommodation to be satisfactory for the price. The rooms and shower facilities are perfectly adequate and the kitchen area is always kept clean and tidy. Also, the woman on the front desk was super friendly and helpful!

It was a cheap hostel, so I'm not expecting the best of conditions. Nevertheless, it was clean, people are friendly, with a great location and view to skye bridge, in the lovely place of Kyleakin.
