Basecamp Wales offers family-run hostel accommodation in Llanllyfni, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and 30.3 km from Pen-Y-Pass and 8.2 km to the beach at Dinas Dinlle. Really nice staff, quick / easy check-in, simple but comfortable room, large common area with plenty of space, big well-equipped kitchen, parking just outside, located right on the doorstep to Snowdonia.

My room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and I had everything I needed. I was close to the bus station and a good pub for dinner. The common area was comfortable and well stocked. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay. I hope to be back one day!! Thank you, Steve, for everything!!!

Situated in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, YHA Manorbier offers a range of accommodation overlooking the sea. We really appreciated being able to access the indoor facilities at the youth hostel. Was wonderful to be able to make breakfast inside when it was raining!

It also has all the authentic parts preserved in a nice harmony with renovation. Good breakfast, lovely person who was serving it, very helpful and communicative. It's a shame there are no other meals. I do recommend my friends to go stay there!
