Danna the owner was very helpful when I checked in and gave me lots of recommendations. You can tell they put a lot of care into making their guests feel like home. Clean and comfortable beds with full curtains to give you some privacy. There’s a cute courtyard for you for relax and a rooftop terrace that you can sunbath or hang your laundry.

The hostel has everything you need - free towels, the cleaning lady even gave me a new one after she saw mine was wet, free laundry service and you can leave your bags before check in and after check out ... also free :)

I stayed at Caveland with family (my two kids and my mother). The room was much more spacious than I could have anticipated. I was expecting a much more smaller room, with several beds fit within the available space (based on past experience). Instead, what we got a essentially a small apartment, with two separate bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and a small living room, all spacious, well equipped (e.g. air condition, wireless, towels etc) and clean. The balcony outside the room was nice for relaxing and also observe the kids in distance, playing in the swimming pool. The kids enjoyed the large swimming pool, it was ideal for the warmest part of the day when we did not want to move around in the island under the Sun. Breakfast was basic but more than sufficient. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The dogs were also a nice company. The village has few nice places to eat, or you can also order to get food delivered at Caveland. Overall, I hope that the fact that Caveland is listed as hostel in some booking websites is discouraging from some families to even consider it as an option - I instead cannot recommend it more.

Everything was perfect from very warm welcome until I left. Owner of the apartments was very kind and also took me few times somewhere by car for cheaper price than taxis. Very quiet area near city center. I really enjoyed my stay. Recommending it to all solo travelers.
