Highly Recommended – Great Stay at High Backpacker, Hong Kong I had a really pleasant stay at High Backpacker. I checked in around 12 AM, and despite the late hour, the staff were incredibly accommodating. Dan at reception was still there close to 1 AM, welcoming, friendly, and patient. He even gave me a free upgrade, which was a great surprise, and pointed me toward places still serving food that late at night. The property itself was very clean, well-kept, and comfortable. The location was convenient and made getting around Hong Kong easy. Overall, this hostel offered far more than I expected—great service, great staff, and a very clean environment. I’d gladly stay again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

El lugar es muy especial, lleno de vida y arte, que expresa la identidad de Hong Kong. Está lleno de rincones preciosos, como el patio interior, la azotea, el estudio, etc. Dormí excelente en la pieza compartida de mujeres y la dueña está siempre presente para ayudar en lo que sea. La ubicación es fantástica. Uno camina un poco y se encuentra con comida tradicional, mercados antiguos, y está levemente alejado de la zona mas congestionada pero aún cerca de la estación de metro. Lamento mucho no haber podido quedarme al concierto de jazz. Un gran acierto:)

This place is absolutely fine for those who wants a budget accommodation. I was confused by some of the negative comments under the hostel and tbh was kinda worried. But what I got was definitely better than I expected. The room is nice with windows (although I have been told that some of the rooms are without windows). My bedsheets and floor are clean, restroom was fine, although the hot water was not looting enough due to the cold weather. But these are fine for a budget place cuz you know you are not here to find a luxurious experience. The staff are nice. They responded me in WhatsApp and Booking.com. They even sent me reminders for checkin which was very guest friendly.
