Only 1.6 km away to MTR Mong Kok Station, The Mahjong is located in Hong Kong. Free WiFi access is available. Traditional HK house with clean interior.Great stuff, very understanding, perfect service, feel free to ask them for recommendations. A lot of great food options around, MRT is also in a few minutes walk, easy to travel to the airport with direct bus. Quite astonished that this hostel has such a low ranking, it's definitely shot above its weight.

I would like to thank the man at reception during the evenings, he is fantastic. I arrived after check-in closed but he moved me to a free room. The rooms are nice and the location is perfect (very central), close to shops and there is convenience stores around the corner. :)

This place is absolutely fine for those who wants a budget accommodation. I was confused by some of the negative comments under the hostel and tbh was kinda worried. But what I got was definitely better than I expected. The room is nice with windows (although I have been told that some of the rooms are without windows). My bedsheets and floor are clean, restroom was fine, although the hot water was not looting enough due to the cold weather. But these are fine for a budget place cuz you know you are not here to find a luxurious experience. The staff are nice. They responded me in WhatsApp and Booking.com. They even sent me reminders for checkin which was very guest friendly.
