They even offered me the option to check in a few hours earlier, which was very convenient.

Was given a big, warm and enthusiasm welcome upon my arrival. The volunteers made you feel like you were a beloved family member and swept you away on organized outings and pointed you to the free snorkels and beach gear. There are morning yoga classes in the yoga studio, and the gorgeous, abundant family dinner was the cherry on top.

All rooms at the accommodation have air conditioning and a safety deposit box. I liked the location, it is just a short walk to the city center, but far enough to allow for quiet nights. The hostel has a wonderful balcony with a phenomenal view of the blue sea. The kitchen allows for a social atmosphere and the large dining table was fun to meet new people at/drink before going out. Each bed comes with a large drawer underneath, which I found very nice to put my things in. The two women who work reception were so lovely, and so were the cleaners!

The location is great, the value is wonderful, staff are amazing and friendly. The beds are comfortable which is why I booked my stay here. It is quiet here as well. Everything was perfect, I recommend this hostel to everyone.

Ideally situated in Makarska, SUBTUB Hostel Makarska features air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Private parking is available on site. I'd never stayed at a hostel before. SUBTUB eliminated any negative misconceptions I had that they were dirty, crowded, and lacked private facilities. We had a large private suite with all the amenities of any other hotel suite...fridge, kitchenette, full private bathroom nicely appointed, large tv, and a double bedroom. Everything was modern and in working order. And we had A/C, although it wasn't needed the evening we stayed. Tito at reception was very friendly and answered all of our questions. All this for a price much, much cheaper than a traditional hotel. And, it is situated one block from the Makarska waterfront. Where all the action is.
