Puri Garden Hotel & Hostel is located on Pengosekan Street, in the foothills of Ubud village, the cultural centre of Bali. I loved the backyard/hang out area and all the activities, including free massages and mani/pedi. The breakfast was great, the room nice and clean, and all the other travellers were fun and friendly. Great overall vibe!

Zoro is a champion host, very welcoming, honest and supportive. I learned a lot about Balinese culture from him. Its an authentic place with excellent atmosphere. You can have quiet privacy and can also socialize with beautiful people from all around the world.

Everything was perfect,:staff, location, cleaness, calm atmospher, comfy bed, pancakes for breakfast were amazing. They offer towel and mineral water for free which I really appreaciated.

I've been to many many hostels and this one is by far my favorite one ! Lovely place, super nice common area with the pool, some relaxing spots and a bar that provides great food & drinks at a decent price. You'll have a lot of space in your bedroom, and the beds are ridiculously big and so confortable :) The showers are super clean, big and soap and shampoo are provided. Super friendly staff (thanks again to Nata for his warm welcome !), and many activities are provided at and around the hostel. The little plus : outside of the room, you can hang your towels, so it doesn't stay wet in our room the entire day. The location is also really good : coming from Canggu, we didn't have to go trough the city center, so we avoided the traffic when we arrived. Then it's only 10 minutes away from the center, if you go with a motorbike and use the shortcuts. 100% recommended ! Would definitely go back when I visit Ubud again !

It has a quiet but very welcoming atmosphere, and Nick is the friendliest host I’ve ever met. I did a tour through the hostel with Nick as the tour guide, and he explained a lot about his culture along the way. Highly recommend Sunshine Vintage House!

The hostel is new, clean, and cozy. There are 6 beds in the room — one female dorm and one mixed. Everything feels very fresh and well maintained. 😊 The staff are simply amazing — always smiling, kind, and helpful. Gede, who speaks English very well, was always around both in the morning and evening and helped with everything I needed. The rest of the team was also very friendly and created a warm atmosphere. 🧹 Cleanliness is 10/10! They clean every day and even make the beds. The mattresses are soft and comfortable, each bed has its own light and small shelf. With a 50,000 IDR deposit, you get a personal locker box in the room — very safe and convenient. The air conditioner works perfectly. 🚿 The shower was one of the best I had in Bali! There’s strong water pressure and real hot water — not just warm, but properly hot if you want. You can easily adjust the temperature, and it feels amazing after a long day exploring. 🍳 Breakfast is included, and you can choose from several options. My favorite was the sunny side eggs, but the banana pancakes were also super delicious! They usually serve some fruits and mint on the side, and during breakfast they ask if you’d like tea or coffee — a nice touch. There’s also a small station where you can refill your water bottle anytime and have tea or coffee throughout the day. 🐕 When I first arrived, there were several dogs near the entrance. Luckily, they were busy eating, but sometimes they bark at new guests. If you’re afraid of dogs, it’s good to know in advance. 🎒 If you arrive before check-in, you can safely leave your luggage — there’s a space for that. The hostel also offers tours. I joined the Mount Batur Sunrise Tour for 350,000 IDR, and it was a 10/10 experience for the price. Everything was well organized, even though we didn’t reach the lvery top.
