This property is also in An Gaeltacht (a predominantly Irish-speaking area in Ireland), and is part of a larger social enterprise and community, so supporting this place benefits the local community. They also bought the pub next door. Great spot for a pint and a chat

The property is allergy-free and is situated 15 km from Blasket Centre. The hostel was one of the best places we found in Ireland. Simply in a fantastic place. It is a hostel that should be preserved as it is. Simple (not elegant) and just in front of the sea.

I went at a low vacancy. I almost had the place to myself. A wonderful room with a double bed. Two kitchens, one smaller and closer to my room, informed and helpful staff and very affordable. ♥️

Cahersiveen offers a range of attractions from water-sports to horse riding and an extensive selection of shops. The hostel has a pretty landscaped garden and balcony, with seating areas and stunning views of the area, and also offers free transport to the boats over to Skellig. Free transport arranged to Skelligs departure, if you book a tour with Casey Tours. The breakfast was delicious. Fruit juice : Fry with sausage, eggs and bacon : Loads of tea and toast We had the perfect room for us. We were a couple and my sister. Our rooms were in a little annex out the back. We had adjoining double room and a single room. They were separate but shared the same entrance and shared a Jack and Jill bathroom. There was a lovely seating area outside our room too. It was so quiet, we slept soundly. Very comfortable. There is on-street parking right outside the door. We loved it. Location, cleanliness, breakfast, staff, value for money were all perfect. We would definitely stay here again
