Just seconds from cultural Temple Bar, Abigail's Hostel has an excellent city-centre location on Aston Quay, overlooking the River Liffey. Location was incredible. Just having the luxury of spending the night at the most central part of Dublin for that price makes the hostel worth it. The fact that the facilities, rooms and personel were of good quality as well, makes it better.

Ashfield Hostel is the most centrally located hostel in Dublin - between Trinity College and O'Connell Bridge and one minutes' walk from Temple Bar, Grafton Street and attractions. The guy at the reception with a moustache and played a guitar was exceptional ..very welcoming and hospitable ..to say he was kind is an understatement .. Just a 5-minute walk from Dublin’s lively Temple Bar entertainment district, this modern purpose-built hostel offers affordable accommodation within the very heart of the city. Pods were nice! Location was perfect. It has a restaurant inside. Large bathroom. Plenty of social activities.

The staff were immediately helpful, allowing us to check in early as the room was ready, to drop bags while we explored around. They called a taxi for us. Recommended restaurant options. Generally made everything smooth and easy. I wasn't aware that a breakfast was included, so unfortunately we missed that! The beds were very comfortable and the room and attached bathroom were just perfect. It was also surprisingly quiet, being so close to the main shopping streets. Easy walk up the hill from the bus and train station. There's also a great little grocery store just a minute walk from Peggy Moores.
