Lovely view of Jerusalem from the rooftop and very central location (1 minute from Jaffa Gate). Nice courtyard outside to sit and meet people. Staff were kind and helpful.

New Citadel Hostel có các phòng điều hòa ở East Jerusalem Jerusalem, cách Tường thành phía Tây 5 phút đi bộ. Ngoài máy ATM, chỗ nghỉ này còn có sân hiên. I love the location in the Old City of Jerusalem, and the view from the terrace is breathtaking. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable, with the great view from the window. I come here the second time and hope to stay here again.

This hostel is absolutely superb, the staff are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. The facilities are cleaned daily, rooms are spacious, air conditioned, large lockers for the bigger backpacks, free wireless internet through the all property. I booked 2 nights but then I stayed 6 . Definitely will come back. Special thanks to Renée from reception. She will always help you with anything you need. Breakfast is great and Fernando is making it more enjoyable. The location is fabulous, across the street from the New Gate into the Old City, and a 10 minute walk to the Jaffa Gate. Also a 20 minute walk to many other landmarks, such as the Montefiore Windmill or the King David hotel. Also, the light rail goes right by, so you can take it from or to the main train station or to Yad vshem . The hostel is located in the historic Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center complex, in a beautiful stone building that used to be an adult professional school. Even though it is on the light rail line, once you are within the complex, it is quiet and serene. The hostel is clean, beds are comfortable, and the breakfast, of pita, humus, several cheeses, eggs, vegetables, and meats, is wholesome and fresh. Jumana, the manager, is very attentive to the guests. For instance, I asked for an electric kettle so we could make our own coffee during the day, and within an hour we had a coffee set-up on the table of our dorm room. Thank you, Jumara, for all you do.
