Beautiful location - for me it was worth it even though it is about a 30 minute walk to the main tourist street. Honestly it is nice being away from the tourist trap main drag even though I was only there for a few days. The road that leads to the hostel has lots of shops, some restaurants and bars, the sister hostel’s travel cafe, and Rachna Bookstore for great books and food. So if you are around for a while its great. The property is set in dense greenery, and does indeed have lots of birdlife. Great common spaces, great balconies, great food for the set dinners (I didn’t have the breakfast or lunch), and the staff is super knowledgeable, especially Saran. They have a deeper and somewhat offbeat lost of things to do in Gangtok, and will organize hikes for groups from the hostel. The standout for me here was the design - an amazing space compared to any other hostel I’ve been to in India. And very clean :)

Nằm ở Gangtok và cách Bảo tàng Namgyal Institute of Tibetology 1.8 km, Mellow Fellow Hostel cung cấp bàn bán tour, các phòng không hút thuốc, phòng chờ chung, Wi-Fi miễn phí ở toàn bộ chỗ nghỉ và quầy... The staff were very kind and helpful. The location was very convenient. It was one of the best accomodations in Sikkim.

Mochilero Ostello ở Pelling cung cấp chỗ nghỉ chỉ dành cho người lớn có khu vườn, sân hiên và quầy bar. I could see the dim outline of Kanchenjunga, not the clear view because it was hazy. Personally it was still good. Anyway April was not the right time to see the clear view. Michilero(backpacker in Spanish) Ostello(hostel in Italian) was a great place to stay in Pelling. Everything - home made food, family atmosphere  - was perfect. And Wake in Himalayas, the hostel next to Mochilero Ostello, was also a nice place run by warm hearted family.

The best part of this hostel is the staff, the vibe and the community, which centers around the cafe. The cafe is a great place to meet people. The staff is engaged and organizes great outings. Most importantly, the owners and most staff are engaged in the local community and are super knowledgeable. Tag Along and Tag Along 2.0 were my best hostel experiences in 5 months in India, and are a model of what hostels should be.

Honey nest nằm ở Sombāri. Đây là chỗ nghỉ không hút thuốc và tọa lạc cách Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary 8 km. Tại hostel, phòng nào cũng có bàn làm việc.
