East Iceland: Pesquise hostels

This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. The host was charming and very welcoming. The dinner was excellent, the chef is a real talent. The peace of the area, a bit fewer folks up this way. The views. The cute chapel on site. The very interesting history of the property.

O Húsey Hostel & Horsefarm dispõe de acomodações a 55 km de Egilsstadir. O hostel dispõe de quartos familiares. No hostel, os quartos incluem uma casa de banho partilhada com um chuveiro. The farm is located in the most beautiful scenery and although one could say it's a bit isolated the location is just perfect for the purpose. The place is charming and genuine with tons of character and atmosphere. The best part however is definately the staff. The ladies of the house were extremely welcoming and lovely. We enjoyed our stay to the full and were so happy to have the chance for a ride with the amazing horses. Loved every bit of it.

Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. Unique experience staying in this renovated old hospital building. The rooms were very comfortable, the kitchen is state of the art, showers and bathrooms very clean, and highlight of the stay - sauna! We had a great stay!

This place is exactly in the middle of the tundra surrounded by very stunning landscapes and mountains. The atmosphere is absolutely magnificent. This actually is a whole camp with a restaurant and a café and a bar with all the infrastructure; and the hostel itself is very pleasant and nice and clean and cosy; I will definitely come back :)
