This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. The host was charming and very welcoming. The dinner was excellent, the chef is a real talent. The peace of the area, a bit fewer folks up this way. The views. The cute chapel on site. The very interesting history of the property.

Húsey Hostel & Horsefarm features accommodation 55 km from Egilsstadir. The hostel has family rooms. At the hostel the rooms include a shared bathroom with a shower. The farm is located in the most beautiful scenery and although one could say it's a bit isolated the location is just perfect for the purpose. The place is charming and genuine with tons of character and atmosphere. The best part however is definately the staff. The ladies of the house were extremely welcoming and lovely. We enjoyed our stay to the full and were so happy to have the chance for a ride with the amazing horses. Loved every bit of it.

Easy check in. We got the private room for four and it was more special than expected. Beds were comfortable and facilities were clean. We didn’t use the showers since we went to the hot springs before.

Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. Very quiet and clean hostel in a very good location

This place is exactly in the middle of the tundra surrounded by very stunning landscapes and mountains. The atmosphere is absolutely magnificent. This actually is a whole camp with a restaurant and a café and a bar with all the infrastructure; and the hostel itself is very pleasant and nice and clean and cosy; I will definitely come back :)

Located in Djúpivogur village, this hostel offers rooms with free WiFi. The rooms are located in a separate house, while there is a shared kitchen in the main building. Clean and central and walkable . Great room size and shared bathroom was clean. Communal kitchen large and had all equipment.
