Very quiet place, with horses around, accommodation in comfy rooms in old wooden building, furnished with love, very good equipped kitchen.

It is a 2 minute walk from the (very small) town centre with restaurant/cafe type of thing as the cheapest option. It is also next to a supermarket. The accom itself has a cafe inside which unfortunately doesn't open until 10am, but the person thankfully made us some coffees around 9am. Rooms were big enough and comfortable beds and pretty good sound proofing. We didn't use the kitchen facilities but bathrooms were also good.

Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. I liked how welcoming the staff were. The moment we came in, they gave us a tour of the place and it was obvious how passionate they were. The kitchen was wide and spacious and had everything needed to make a splendid meal.

Located in Djúpivogur village, this hostel offers rooms with free WiFi. The rooms are located in a separate house, while there is a shared kitchen in the main building. Well organised. Nice coming rooms. Separated toalets from showers. Kitchen big and functional.
