This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. Really nice stay here. Thank you Sigri and her dad for helping us because we (four of us) arrived quite late. Love the room and the spectacular view soooooo much and we feel sad that could not stay here for longer! Definitely recommend to all travellers!!!

I like the location especially there is a bar and camping site in the whole complex. I met some locals in the pub/bar which was nice. Very friendly staff. The kitchen is well equipped, several showers and toilets.

Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. The team was extremely helpful 👏 I also liked that there was a good coffee machine 😀 and Oatmilk, at no other hostel I've been to in Iceland they have that. The whole hostel was super clean 👌 and still they had only 3 workers, which I thought was almost impossible, but they were extremely thorough and fast. I will go there again! Thank you to Sara especially, you are one of a kind ❤️

Húsey Hostel & Horsefarm features accommodation 55 km from Egilsstadir. The hostel has family rooms. At the hostel the rooms include a shared bathroom with a shower. Old farmhouse very comfortable and cozy. The cleanliness in rooms, toilets and kitchen is very good. The location is remote and not close to a town, which makes it a great opportunity to feel the lowlands of this region. The host is very friendly and encourages interaction between guests through the hostel features (large kitchen and gallery for eating together, library with board games and no WiFi to minimize internet surfing). Highly recommended!

Located in Djúpivogur village, this hostel offers rooms with free WiFi. The rooms are located in a separate house, while there is a shared kitchen in the main building. Beautiful location up on the hill. The layout of the facility was welcoming with clean accessible bathrooms.

Absolutely lovely stay here, there is a beautiful cat there to greet you (Brossi I believe his name was). The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The shared kitchen and lounge area is very cosy and there are music instrument to play around with too.
