Loved the hostel ambiance, bed, bathrooms were clean, people were respectful to each other, the receptionists were helpful. If you're traveling to Reykjavik via bus or cab, use the landmark as Bus Stop #9 or #13, as the hostel is very close to it. Use the same bus stop for your tours. The famous church is just 5 min walk from the hostel. There's a fast food restaurant right next to the hostel which was great to grab a quick bite to eat.

But the host promptly provided us with a second room. In the same hostel we had one more booking after completing the Ring road trip. We opted payment at location but before some day of our stay, the hostel tried to get the payment but was rejected as by credit card is pin locked. Since my payment was rejected due to pin locked my booking was cancelled and I have to book another room at the last moment. This situation give us tension or nothing on us. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was ideal. Overall, a great place to experience the real Icelandic feeling. I highly recommend this hostel!
