It had a kitchen that was well equipped, free tea and coffee, and a nice dining area to sit and have a meal. Everything was clean. Shampoo and soap provided in the showers, towel provided as well. It was quiet so I got a good night's sleep. Located on the Golden Circle route, very close to the geysir and Gullfoss waterfall.

Guests can choose between rooms with private or shared bathrooms. Beautiful location in Laugarvatn, close to many main sights. Restaurants and grocery in the area are limited.

Rooms at Selfoss Hostel have views of either the garden or Ingolfsfjall Mountain. Each has an in-room wash basin and access to shared bathroom and kitchen facilities.

The Bobby Fischer Chess Museum is 1 minutes’ walk away. Selfoss Golf Centre is 1.1 km from the hostel. Efficient self check-in, clean room and shared bathroom, very comfortable bed, free parking. Hotel staff (Paulina) is so friendly and nice person, and she recommended places to visit nearby Selfoss city. I may visit again to see Aurora during winter.
