Located within the famous Golden Circle sightseeing trail, Héradsskólinn Historic Guesthouse overlooks Lake Laugarvatn, Hekla Volcano and the Eyjafjallajökull Glacier. We liked the house and the books in the shelfs. The restaurant is nice and the staff was excellent.

Situated by Route 1 in central Selfoss, this accommodation offers free parking, free WiFi access and brightly decorated guest rooms. The Selfoss Geothermal Swimming Pool is 350 metres away. The room was comfy and the WCs were very clean, kitchen and sitting area was also neat and spacious. And !!! the staff were super nice :) They helpled us with many things that we needed. Thank you!
