We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling through the area! The vibe here is super laid-back and friendly, which made meeting other travelers really easy and enjoyable. The facilities are top-notch—clean, well-maintained with cozy bedrooms. The common areas are perfect for relaxing, socializing, or catching up on work. I can't wait to return to Iceland and will definitely be back next time. Highly recommended!

This Icelandic horse farm provides accommodation in Haukadalur Valley, 90 minutes’ drive from Reykjavik. Overlooking Geysir, it offers a guest lounge, garden and horse riding tours. Geysir Hestar is a wonderful place to stay when you are doing the golden circle. A cosy welcoming guesthouse in the countryside, you can see the geysir area from your window - and islandic horses. We combined our stay with a horseback ride and Fanny was a fabulous guide. Ella, who is managing the guesthouse, will help you with all the questions you have.

Located within the famous Golden Circle sightseeing trail, Héradsskólinn Historic Guesthouse overlooks Lake Laugarvatn, Hekla Volcano and the Eyjafjallajökull Glacier. We liked the house and the books in the shelfs. The restaurant is nice and the staff was excellent.

Situated by Route 1 in central Selfoss, this accommodation offers free parking, free WiFi access and brightly decorated guest rooms. The Selfoss Geothermal Swimming Pool is 350 metres away. Efficient self check-in, clean room and shared bathroom, very comfortable bed, free parking. Hotel staff (Paulina) is so friendly and nice person, and she recommended places to visit nearby Selfoss city. I may visit again to see Aurora during winter.
