Very clean and spacious room, the guesthouse has also a living room/kitchen area with nice view. The kitchen is well equipped and we even had a coffee from a machine, enjoying our morning on the terrace. The staff - owners that we met are very friendly and open.

This was the best accommodation we stayed in on our week's holiday in Iceland, would definitely stay again on a return visit. The communal space was spacious despite there only being 3 bedrooms, the bedroom itself was small but clean. The kitchen although small was very well equipped. The washer/dryer in the bathroom was also a perk The photos don't do it justice, they make the communal area/kitchen look much smaller then what it was

Located within the famous Golden Circle sightseeing trail, Héradsskólinn Historic Guesthouse overlooks Lake Laugarvatn, Hekla Volcano and the Eyjafjallajökull Glacier. We liked the house and the books in the shelfs. The restaurant is nice and the staff was excellent.

Situated by Route 1 in central Selfoss, this accommodation offers free parking, free WiFi access and brightly decorated guest rooms. The Selfoss Geothermal Swimming Pool is 350 metres away. I was really impressed with the quality of this hostel, from the cleanliness of the facilities and the spacious bathrooms, kitchen and lounge areas. The added touch of the coffee machine was a bonus.
